  Participated in a Ukrainian Egg Decorationg class today. It was a lot of fun and I made a lovely egg! Great little shop to poke around in. A lot of cottage decoration ideas. Very cozy with super friendly staff!

  I can not say enough good things about Gareth and the staff at Maker House! This store is filled with so many amazing local and Canadian finds, that make gift giving a lot more fun and special. If you are looking for something fun and unique, from a great place that actually gives back to the community than this is the place for you to shop at!

  A large space filled with a variety of handcrafted objects that range from small knick-knacks to furniture pieces. A large portion of the items were Canadian themed. I'm not much for knick-knack type stores in general but I actually enjoyed this one. We had friends visiting from the States and they also both seemed to enjoy browsing the collection of objects. Definitely worth checking out if you venture over to wait in the line at SuzyQ's.

  If you have been looking for a piece of wood with a word burned into it for 25$ this is the spot for you. They have some cool stuff though.

  Must visit in Ottawa! Can always find an interesting and locally made gift here. Great card selection too! Really helpful staff. Sign up for their newsletter, fun workshops and storytelling to be had!
