  Had trouble sleeping when i slept here as the people above me kept walking and the floors creeked very loud as the house is old. Staff was decently friendly but since my room was next to their desk i was woken up really early in the morning by them. Found the washroom was fairly dirty as well. I would definitely recommend staying in a hotel not this old house!

  Fantastic experience. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Very welcoming, clean and cosy. Delicious breakfast :) Highly recommend

  Absolutely fantastic. The rooms were dry so I would suggest placing a pot of water on your radiator. The hosts were very welcoming and breakfast a real treat!!!! Robes and slippers made it an extra nice touch.

  I booked this place for my parents. They don't speak English at all, but the staff is very friendly and do their best to make their stay comfortable. I know hospitality is all about that, but I can see that it is not a "forced" way to do it.

  A very cozy Victorian era inn. Beds are comfortable to sleep in. Well furnished, with a lot of pillows. When the AC is off, it is a very quiet room, so you can get a good night's sleep. The rooms are cozy, clean, and the bathrooms are clean. There is also a well maintained common area. Amanda and Harald were both very professional. Harald even drove me to the train station the day I left! I would not hesitate to recommend it to other people staying in the Kitchener area. If I need to go back to Kitchener, I will stay there again.
