Great place and a great steak. The staff and service excellent. They even broke out a nice bottle of Irish Whiskey for me. Nice comfortable place.

Friendly staff, clean, very comfortable room. The decor is incredible. They even threw in some birthday treats for my partner, who I was surprising

I visited the Walper with six other work colleagues to attend a course over the weekend. This is a perfect hotel option for a group with a busy schedule that just needs a place to sleep and relax. Nothing is fussy, but everything works. The rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed, and have a tasteful, contemporary design aesthetic. I liked the personalized note that welcomed me. The team that handled what looks like a recent renovation deserves praise. The location was very convenient. The service is courteous, capable and there when you need them. The only reason I wouldn't give five stars is that some of my colleagues complained about noise from other guests. Hardly the hotel's fault, but I would encourage light sleepers to bring earplugs.

I stayed in room 302. The room was very spacious and well designed. The only problem I had with is was a vibration that I felt when I laid down. It might have been the cooling system or heating system unit running beneath me possibly. Either way I didn't make a big stink about it but it may bother some people. The place in general was very chic and clean.

What a wonderful hotel! The rooms have high ceilings, tall windows, wide wood floors, and a lovely uncluttered design. The bathroom was large and luxurious. The old building means that no two rooms are the same, I suspect. The staff was friendly and extremely capable. There's a breakfast restaurant and a bar in the hotel, and many restaurants within walking distance. This hotel made my business travel feel like a vacation.
