Booked a room at this hotel due to a wedding in the area, although beautiful, I had a traumatizing experience. Upon check in I was cornered in the elevator by an individual who referred to himself as the "local pimp". He and another man were suspiciously sitting by the secluded elevator located at the back of the hotel. After being crudely approached and spoken on the ride up to my floor, he continued to follow me to my room and carried on with his behaviours -making comments about sexual things he was going to do to me as well as other sly threats. After being completely terrified I was able to get into my room without him coming any further. I called the front desk, explained the situation in a panic and asked for someone to come and escort me out of my room. The VERY young man that was sent had no idea why he was escorting me out and was quite timid himself; not making me feel any better about the situation. Beyond that, the situation was not addressed by the hotel, police were not called and I was not approached by the office manager until I brought up the situation upon check out. The office manager offered me 50% off my stay (to sweep the situation under the rug) and free snacks from the snack bar. She assured me she would check the video footage to find the individual who harassed me during my visit. I can now say it has been 24hrs since the incident has occurred and I have heard no feedback of the situation. I would not feel comfortable ever returning to this hotel, their security and their practises to keep their guests safe are next to none and the lack of concern from the staff is appalling. For any young families with children or individuals travelling alone, I would advise to stay away from this hotel as there are no security measures in place and anyone off the streets have access to enter the hotel. This was supposed to be a fun and celebratory weekend for myself and family but instead I have been experiencing panic attacks and endless nervousness with the occurrences that happened upon check in.

I have stayed here 3 times when traveling for work. The rooms are nice, bed is comfortable, and everything was clean. I don't get the showers. Maybe it's just me, but the design of the showers makes it hard to turn on without getting sprayed with freezing water and water very easily gets on the floor as there is only a half glass wall- no curtain. Room service is pricy, as expected, but it tastes great and they offer food late into the night. I have had issues with substitutions, where the food comes as default rather than what I asked for. After traveling all day, I only left a note when I put the tray out to let them know, but didn't get an acknowledgement. I would also suggest not to get a room on the King Street side. Not sure if it's only on certain days, but it's very easy to be woken up by the street cleaner on the fourth floor very early in the morning.

The hotel is nice but is built a bit like a maze. Hallways tend to go on forever and getting from parking to hotel is quite complicated. The rooms were a good temperature, clean, and up to date. Our coffee machine was a little dirty but am employee overheard me talking about it in the elevator and I had a brand new on in my room that day. Staff is friendly and eager to help. They have a pretty cool area downstairs including pool, mini golf, bowling, sauna, hot tub, and fitness centre. Despite a few inconveniences with location and design, I would stay here again.

Nice lobby and a nice bar restaurant. Service was good. Rates are reasonable. A bit of walking to the parking which is extra charge. We were in the older section in the rooms were a bit narrow and the bathroom was small no counter space - but the furniture and cleanliness and bedding was all quite good. Arrived at the hotel late and the check in was really fast. Very close covered parking attached to the hotel and the rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable. Only disappointment was we didn't get a balcony. The breakfast they serve is highly recommended. Ours came included with the room but for $12 it's a full hot breakfast. Lots of sausage, bacon, waffles, fruit.. plenty selection. Drinks included. The pool and the bowling, ping pong area looked really cool and I want to check it out next time
