  We had an amazing time with our new server Tyler. He was obviously new to Anejo but went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and informed. however when we ordered the guacamole for the table we had a different server “Sam” was extremely rude. We asked him what he was doing when he began to mash the ingredients ( as in.. what are you mixing together) he said with a roll of the eyes “ I’m making guacamole. I can’t express how rude it come cross and how stupid it made us feel. Well we just had to get over that and move on with our meal, so we ordered a flight of tequilas, which our amazing first server delivered. When we were ready to take our shots Sam asked how we were doing, we asked for some lime to finish them off and one for our super bland guacamole. He brought them over and said “you know these fine tequilas don’t need lime.” We said “oh okay thanks, we also needed it for our guacamole” and he got angry and said “ well then why would you lie??” It was extremely awkward and we didn’t know what else to say so we grabbed our bill and left. Don’t think we will be back due to the awkwardness from the one server who made us feel like trash. Tyler, you’re awesome though!!

  Ambiance is the most important factor for a bar (in my opinion). Joyful environment, music, decor & etc. This place is one of the best in that regard. Food is also very good. I am sure it will satisfy most tastes. Try guacamole, they make it fresh in front of you... Service is good as well. My impression is that this is mostly a place for young people. Pricewise, it is reasonable considering what it offers but it is on the expensive side. I am very pleased with this place.

  The fish tacos and the guacamole here are probably the best ones I’ve had in all of Calgary. Food is amazing, service is also great and the atmosphere is really chill. It’s one of the best places for a get together and catching up with friends. The drink options are decent too. 5/5 would recommend and go again.

  Personally, one of my favourite places in town for fish tacos and guacamole (and I am not a guacamole fan). The tortilla chips can get a little dense so I stick to flour tortillas for my tacos and you cannot go wrong. If you catch their happy hour special, prices are quite fair. Haven’t tried anything else on the menu, but I’d guess it’s pretty good based on the fact I always get the same thing for its deliciousness. Atmosphere can be quite busy later into the night and the staff are all very kind. Ask for the guacamole because they make it fresh in front of you and it’s cool to watch.
