  Music can be too loud at times. Though it may look weird, I suggest bringing a couple of ear plugs. If you are nice and human to staff, they wll be humam and kind to you. Do not hold a $20 bill up in the air if you want to order drinks. These are professionals that can distinguish when some one or a party wants to order drinks. If you are looking at a place to dance, club, party, and socialize with music thumping, this is the place for you.

  VERY limited drink choices (including beer) like they actual have 3 drinks to choose from. staff are not friendly, the speakers sound like they are straight up blown. live performances at knoxvilles are underwhelming. The crowd isn't a great vibe. But the music wasn't the worst. lol.

  I recently attended Knoxville’s with a few friends for a birthday, and was unbelievably disappointed. The bartenders were great, it was the doormen that I was treated with great disrespect. As my party and I were leaving, a doorman was escorting a gentleman out. While doing so (more aggressively than I would allow my staff, as I am a bartender at a nightclub very similar in Lethbridge, AB) - he pushed a person within my party. I asked whom he was - as he was wearing zero staff tshirt or identification - and he called me an extremely profane, derogatory name, and proceeded to kick my entire party out of the bar, as we were already trying to leave. This sort of behaviour is unacceptable for a nightclub with esteem and reputation like Knoxville’s, and I will certainly never be back after experiencing the extreme power trip the managers' seem to allow their doormen to obtain while working. Incredibly disappointed from one service industry member to others. Would not recommend.

  Last night me and a friend went to Knoxville's, she was allowed in but I was not. Both of our ID pictures are not recent but only my ID was in question. I've always enjoyed going to Knoxville's but always feared I would not be let in because of how I look and last night proved it. In the past when I went out with people of my own race, there would always be some kind of issue. Usually along the lines of asking for a second piece of identification. I was not let in with my own ID last night because I simply have a blemish (pimple) on my face which I did not have in my ID picture.That was the only "valid" reason both bouncers at the front door denied my entry. Ended up going to two other places that night and was let in right away, no questions asked. I will not be going back to this sad excuse of an establishment, nor will I recommend this place to people. Very disappointed in how I was treated last night by the staff.

  We came from Edmonton for one night on my birthday weekend to celebrate in Calgary & we thought we’d give Knox a chance. Worst decision of my life. The bathrooms were DISGUSTING. You couldn’t even sit on the toilet seat... the stalls were so gross, the whole floor of the bathroom was pretty much flooded with soggy toilet paper EVERYWHERE. There were two MALE bouncers standing in the middle of the girls bathroom literally having small talk with all the desperate drunk females. Your vodka slimes also taste like water.. you guys should maybe do some reno’s & put your bathrooms upstairs... That bar is literally crawling with aids
