::If you put any stock into old-timey concepts like accumulated knowledge and staying power, pay them a visit. I'll never forget the many, many visits I paid to Foster (and Byles) as a 15 year old -- in 1971! -- to ogle the beautiful all-chrome Garlatti I eventually saved enough to finally buy. Sweet memories!

::I recently had a bike built by Fosters. I was planning on getting it done at Bushtukah, but I went to Fosters for some parts and they hooked me on a cheaper quote. Now before I get into things, I would Like to say that Peter, did great work on the bike, and was very friendly. He was the only one who didn't seem bothered by the state of my parts. The final price was also reasonable all things considered. I ended up paying $50 more than expected for the build, and I feel that the work put in was worth that extra $50. When I brought the rest of my parts in for the build, I had them loosely in a box, as I had painted the frame the previous summer. I was treated to a rather disappointed attitude from the staff. Fair enough, it's more work than they expected. However, all 3 members on staff at the time made sure to get their expressions of disapproval in as the crowded around my box of parts. On the 2 subsequent occasions that I visited, I was ceremoniously reminded that I didn't know how to take apart a bike, and that I was causing them a great deal of grief. To quote one of the techs; "this looks like something I would have done when I was 12". I had filled out a work order which was attached to the frame, however, every time I went in, their was discrepancies in whether or not I had filled out the work order, and which parts I had brought in. Both of which I made sure to do in my first 2 visits. To add insult to injury, I was told verbatim "Next time, you take a bike apart, come in and we will tell you how to do it right" almost immediately after I dropped $300 into their bank accounts. All in all I was very dissatisfied with the level of professionalism I encountered in regards to customer service. That being said, the bike was built well, and the turnaround was quick.

::Top Notch Customer Service. I'm not one to buy stuff at brick and mortar stores anymore walked in thinking ahh check online too.. However I returned on the principle this place provided great service and to be honest was also cheaper than what I can find online. Painless and no hard up selling. Super glad and I've already recommended them to a fee others and told them about experience!

::After reading the reviews on Google I was apprehensive about going there however our experience was great. My wife and I were looking for bikes after not riding for 20 years plus. We went to two highly rated local bike shops and although the staff were good they didn't have suitable bikes in stock. We went into Fosters and the staff were great - they asked lots of questions regarding the bike usage and made some suggestions in our price range. Here is the great part - since we were there during rush hour the sales person suggested we come back on Saturday morning when we could test drive to our hearts content in their big parking lot behind the store. So we went back on Saturday and started test driving with the sales person asking us questions after each drive so he could adjust the recommendation if required. Anyhow since they have such a large selection we were able to find great bikes and got a good deal on buying two. For us it was a great customer experience - thanks Tom.
