I brought my old MTB into for service, which I was now using for commuting. I was really disappointed with the result. The next day, it squeaked, the chain rubbed weirdly, the brakes were loud... They made it right, and they did it on the weekend. My first impression was terrible, but since then it has been great. My next service (same bike) turned up a frame defect. My bike was essentially unusable. But it was under warranty (17 years after purchase... Gary Fisher / Trek), and as a Trek dealer, they handled the warranty processing. They also pulled off the new parts theyโ€™d put on prior to discovering the frame problem, and didnโ€™t charge me. I now have a much nicer bike than I did before, for an incremental cost. Adam, Brent, and the staff at both locations were really helpful in the process.

Recommend 100%. These guys are amazing. Always extremely helpful. We had bought our touring bikes from the parent shop on Bloor West. One of the mudguards broke off, seemingly without reason. Brent was kind enough to contact SKS to see if they would send a replacement. They did, and Sweet Pete's then mounted the replacement for free. I have nothing but positive things to say about these guys. Yes for small stuff, it's a bit more expensive than MEC, but you pay for the location, and most importantly for the amazing service (MEC bikeshop is so-so and staff not super knowledgeable).

Was just overcharged $20+tax on a kids bike helmet- out of box- that they have available in stock online. That just doesn't seem right. Hope that 20 was worth it. All subsequent helmets will be purchased elsewhere. Don't waste your time and money like I did.

Employees were helpful and not pushy. Free installation for accessories purchased meant one less headache. Reasonable prices. Thanks!
