  I have mixed feeling about my first experience at Smudge last weekend. I went for a 60 minutes facial Cons - Service. They ask on their website to arrive 5-10 minutes early. My appointment was at 2pm on Sunday, so I arrived at 1:50. The door was locked and there was a note saying they were out for lunch. I came back at 2pm sharp, same situation. I had to wait another few minutes for the esthetician to open. She did not apologize for making me wait so long Then, she took 15 minutes to set up the room. I assumed she would just extend my appointment by the same time. She did not. My treatment ended up being 45 minutes instead of 60 and I was charged the same price. I was disappointed because for the price I should have picked an express facial. It felt like a waste of my money. - The application was ok. I was expecting the esthetician to explain a little more what she was doing. She did it at the beginning, then stopped. Pros - Great space. It looks amazing and polished. They sell quality products and the set up both for facial and mani-pedi is very inviting. - They used high quality products. It's perfect if you have sensitive skin like mine. I really wanted to like it but I’m not sure I’ll be going back or recommend it to my friends.

  Courtney and Harriet were super nice and were great company during our appointment. I didn't feel in any way rushed and Courtney took the time to show me around the shop and some of the local products available. I'll definitely be coming back here!

  This place is absolutely amazing!!! I desperately needed a manicure, so they were able to fit me in at a last minute. As my luck would have it, I had to reschedule, again last minute, and the staff was very accommodating and understanding. When I arrived for my appointment, my esthetician took the time to pick the colour of nail polish with me and provided a very useful recommendation on what colour would go best with my skin tone. During the procedure itself, my esthetician was very diligent and always checked in with me if I like the shape of nails, if I like the length, etc. For the colour application itself (I had shellac), she was very thorough to ensure that it is far enough and that there is no big space between the cuticle and the polish. Just FYI, I find that some places just roughly slap on the polish leaving so much space in between, that a week later you already need to go for touch up as the nail grows out. Not at Smudge, she did a fantastic job! And to conclude on the overall amazing experience a really relaxing hand massage. I strongly recommend to go to this super cool place and get a fantastic, quality pampering experience!

  Friendly and professional staff that deliver a great service! This is my go to spot for all my esthetic needs. The vibe is great and the store is beautiful :)

  11/10 experience with Harriet. It was my first wax, she made it stress free and the whole situation was super comfortable! I've recommended her and smudge beauty bar to all my friends! Definitely will be a regular!
