::Showed up at 5PM for dinner on a Sunday night. Was seriously the worst dining out experience I have ever had. The Sunday drink special was out. The wine we ordered was out of stock. The beer we ordered was available but then we literally sat there for 30 minutes before they came and told us they needed to change the keg for the Sapporo. Did I mention that hardly anyone was there, yet service was so slow it was outrageous. Our appetizer we ordered sushi tacos ... came out after our dinner. It was not sushi, but just fake crab loaded with mayo. All the steak was overdone. The maguro I ordered (supposed to be red tuna) was white. Everything was abysmal. No apologies for anything. Can't believe we spent so much money on such an atrocious dinner.

::The service was slow, and the food was just awful. The sashimi was clearly made with fish that should have been chucked in the bin, had a distinct odor, and tough. The cutting technique was appalling, irregularly sliced pieces with jagged cut lines, it’s clear whoever is in the kitchen doesn’t care, or doesn’t have near the skill to properly handle the food. Would never order food here again.

::The ambience was very nice, which made the evening much more enjoyable. One of the prettiest places I've ever dined. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Some of the best customer service I've recieved in Ottawa. My friend ordered a soup which was a little too spicy for him, but the waitress and kitchen were happy to take it back and prepare him something else very quickly! The food was good with great portions but, needed a little more care in the seasoning and temperature. It's not something I'd go out of my way for due to the price. However, I will return because the service was just THAT good!

::The overall atmosphere and service cozy and nice. But the food was .... was on par with supermarket sushi :( ... i wanted to like this place but the sushi was not that great compared to some of the other places in Ottawa. The drinks were pretty good, and they have lots of events going on. There was a fly buzzing around our food so it was a bit uncomfortable. The cooked food was good, but sushi needs a bit improvement! There is potential in this restaurant.
