Very cool experience! This is a must try, especially if you've never floated in the Dead Sea. The buoyancy feeling is the same, however, Float House removes all distractions putting the body and mind in a state of total relaxation. So stop wasting time reading this and go float yourself!

Was a great relaxing time. Wish there was music in the pods, would have been more of a zenful experience. The senses in the store from was too much. Was glad that the staff were so accomdating about turning off their defuser. Would love to go again and again!

If you've never experienced a sensory deprivation, or "float" tank, and have been curious to try it or even don't know what one is, Float House will be an amazing experience. Helpful staff and an incredible facility will leave you wanting to come back as soon as possible. As they say on their website, "give yourself the gift of nothing".

Not knowing what to expect it was an interesting first experience. The attending staff gave a thorough walk-through for me as a newbie and made sure I was all set before my time started. It was clean (I was in pod 5) and had a calming atmosphere. Glad there was a hair dryer in the front washroom and that they had a station for water, tea, and prep items for the float (Q-tips, petroleum jelly to protect scratches, and wax ear plugs). The changing colour lights in the pod were fun but I was glad to have the option for lights off, I'm not sure if music would have changed up the experience, but would be interested in testing it out (possible option to bring your own music). It took a while to settle but I also found it fun to bounce around a bit. One suggestion I have to newbies is reminding your body to relax without engaging any muscles. Learn to float and relax!

I did the July Float challenge and really enjoyed it. I really appreciated the challenge as my first time wasn't great - I couldn't relax my neck! But #2 & 3 were fantastic. Meditation on steroids (that's the point right? :) ) Will definitely be back for more.
