Casey's need and breakfast is excellent! Couldn't find a nicer host, or more cozy and convenient downtown location. Within walking distance to basically everything. I can't recommend it enough! If you're visiting Whitehorse, you should definitely try to stay at Casey's bed and breakfast!

The comments from another reviewer here about the dogs at this b and b are correct. These are small dogs that bark constantly at the slightest sound and growl too. I was afraid of them and I usually love and get along with all pets. We had a LOT of other issues with this b and b, see my full review at Trip Advisor which also explains that the owner did nothing to make up for the many problems we encountered while staying there. Definitely not recommended. I would try out the Midnight Sun B and B if visiting this area again. That WAS a place that I have only read good things about. We happened to meet the owner while in Whitehorse and were impressed by his attitude and his conveniently located, attractive property too. I only wish we had chosen more wisely and avoided the hassles and inconvenience at Casey's on that trip. PS: Just noted a review here written by another Oberg! Given that is the owner's last name and a very uncommon name too, that seems like a rather bogus "review"!

Extremely accommodating! Very pleasant rooms, amazing breakfast to cook any time for breakfast. Good location for walking, downtown food and is also dog friendly... Will stay here again!

This is a great B&B location. I highly recommend it. A few cautions for certain travelers are towards the end, but I would stay here again and recommend it to others. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and a short walk to a town square area with places to eat, shop, etc. Casey's has two very spacious rooms available. They are downstairs from a primary residence. The room I stayed in was adorably decorated and plenty of room for a couple. The king size bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and pristine, and the room had a nice sitting area with a great TV channel package. I stayed here with my mother and two cats. I loved that the room was pet friendly. My cats enjoyed the window at ground level b/c they could see critters outside in the patio area behind the main house. I think they also enjoyed that it felt like a home rather than a hotel...we'd stayed in several hotels before this on our trip from Ohio to Alaska. The full kitchen and fridge stocked with breakfast fare were most welcome. We got dinner and breakfast out of the fridge with food to spare. Some might dislike that you have to prepare the food yourself, but I found this to be a huge perk. Real eggs that I could cook how I wanted! Plenty of supplies to make tea (or coffee) however you desire. I loved the food that was offered and was happy to prepare it myself. Laundry machines are available...for a fee. And, you have to go up and down stairs which could be difficult for some. The owner's two small dogs live upstairs and bark occasionally, but I found them to be a good security measure. Unless someone came or went loudly, they weren't an issue but light sleepers might not prefer that. I don't know if the other room had one or two beds, but the king bed in my room was big enough to feel like two. My experience with Casey's B&B was wonderful. The room was safe, comfortable, clean, and was a nice feel of "home" among 11 days of hotel stays. Thank you for a great stay!

Pros: Carol is very friendly and does her best to make sure you're looked after. The housekeeper is very nice as well. Carol's cookies are delicious and there is usually a variety of fruit available just before you go out of the front door. Location is great, you can walk anywhere in the downtown area extremely easily. Fridge and cupboards are full Bed is extremely comfortable Water pressure is amazing Fireplace turns on easily and it's very warm You can lock your room Cons: The hot tube was pretty cloudy, I wouldn't have trusted it. She has two dogs and they like to bark whenever they hear a noise One of her dogs will bite, the short haired one.
