I had a wonderful stay, the room was very comfortable, clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's great to have a fridge and microwave in the room, I love that you can actually opened the window for fresh air!

My husband and I have travelled all over Canada, the US, Mexico, Jamaica and the Bahamas. We have never stayed in a worse place! It is full of bed bugs and filth! They were even crawling around in daylight in our room so I can't even imagine how many there were! I am beyond disgusted! When I brought it to the attention of the Manager he said that it's a problem in most of their rooms. I suggested our 4 day stay should include a different room and a 50 percent reduction on our entire stay. The Manager would not consider such a request, as he suggested that there was not yet a problem with another room, but suggested that I was so upset I would likely find one! I will also add that the Manager and his office were also filthy and disgusting! There were no apologies made at all!!! In the end it was made to look like it was my fault that I was not content and we were asked to check out before we caused THEM anymore problems. Once I am home tomorrow my problems will only begin! I do not recommend this filthy place to anyone nor would I recommend Whitehorse itself. If you want the beauty of the mountains etc. go to Alaska. We drove there today and it is a complete difference from this filthy town. I want to add that upon getting home it took 2 full days of washing and hot drying to ensure we did not bring the bed bugs into our home!!

Do not stay here! Two different rooms, when checking in, both looked like they were still occupied. Stayed there long enough to find a Best Western a couple of blocks away, which was about $40 more. If there weren't bedbugs there, then there are no trees in Canada. Went down and told the man "cancel me, this place is below substandard" and left. Stay at your own peril. The only reason I gave one star is because Google apparently won't let you post without at least one. One more thing, the pictures on their website, talk about putting lipstick on a pig...

I always root for the little guy, I always pick the loser team, I wasn't expecting much for the really great price. After being here I think I would have preferred to pay more. The area it's in you wouldn't let your kids play on the street corner in the evening. The room door locks are old school with a plate installed so people can't Jimmy the lock, obviously this has been a problem. Didn't exactly inspire confidence. Toilet paper is single ply. I've been on a canoe trip in the woods for 14 days and was looking forward to a bath, nooope. Bath tub has hair in it obviously not cleaned and generally gross. I feel bad for the people on the plane but I'm not getting in there. Decor is pretty good, staff are great. But it reminds me of the St Louis Hotel in the 80's in Calgary where you could find Ralph Kline. Except I would have felt safer at the St Louis. If your a Rugged person, sit with your back to walls at all times, and are generally prepared for a Apocalypse or Zombie outbreak, you think this place is just fine.

The rooms are surprisingly large and minimalistic but classy. Beds are a bit stiff and pillows super fluffy. The shower had fantastic pressure, feels like a massage! Unfortunately you can faintly hear the beeping of the sidewalk but you can't hear the live venue next door. The hotel is right across from the gorgeous river and right near the McBride museum (which is currently constructing new gallery space!) The hotel is also attached to a Japanese restaurant
