I've been taking my guitars and banjos here for years, and will continue to. From major repairs to setups Brian has delivered excellent work every time. Good clear communication, and great value for the price. Highly recommended.

Brian has put a couple of my old instruments on the right path. His obvious knowledge and attention to the details and character of an instrument is impressive. Absolutely recommended.

With three guitars to date having being worked on by Brian I can honestly say he has earned my absolute trust. Period. Guitars one and two were pretty straight ahead jobs as far as any Luthier of reputation would consider them to be. Fret milling and setup were the tasks and were handled superbly at a very fair and reasonable price for his level of craftsmanship. But it is guitar three that I want to bring to your review-comparing attention. My Westerly Guild D30 is nothing short of absolutely precious to me. Pretty much non-replaceable as it took several years for me to find this replacement for my original D30 that was "permanently removed without permission." This guitar was going to Brian for the full deal including finger board milling to better than factory specs among other restore tasks. My main point? Warranties and guarantees are kind of a joke when it comes to doing delicate "one-way trip" work on an instruments that are irreplaceable to you. It simply just must be 100% right the first time. No do-overs. Brian has In my opinion handled both simpler and much more complex tasks with equal care and attention to detail. Whether it is bringing a guitar up to snuff, or if the instrument is on your "endangered species precious" list as was mine, I can recommend him highly and I am more than sure he would quickly earn your trust too.
