  One of the best restaurants in Ottawa year after year. New menu every day but quality remains the same. Casual dining experience with amazing food, a great selection of beer and wine and good music. Look out for lots of unexpected grapes on the wine list. Super friendly service and amazing food with lots of local and organic.

  TREAT YOURSELF TO DELICIOUSNESS I think everyone should eat here to understand just how incredible the food is, and how extraordinarily talented and creative the chef is. Each time I dine here, I ask myself why don’t come here more often. I took economics in school. There’s an economic law called The Law of Dimishing Returns where subsequent consumption (bites) is enjoyed less than the initial consumption. That law does not apply here. You will love your last bite as much as the first. I challenge you to resist licking your plate.

  One of my favorite restaurants in Ottawa! The atmosphere is great. It’s cozy and intimate. A great place for a date. It’s also not over the top fancy so you can dress causal and not feel like a tool. I went here with my girlfriend. She got the beef short rib. I got some sort of salmon. They were both excellent! We also got a few cocktails. Again, amazing! It’s on the pricey side, but I felt like we got value that matched the price and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

  This place used to be one of my go-to 5 start restaurants in Ottawa. Last two meals have been good, but not stunning and not quite up to the price tag given the always improving competition in Ottawa. To be honest, the salad was the best thing I ate by a longshot, with the main (scallops on lentils) bland; while the scallops were perfectly cooked, the bed of lentils they were served on were a boring one-note, and monotonous to get through. With all the focus on local veg, I'd like to come back in the summer some time and see if they're still bringing the culinary game I know they used to, or if they've gone permanently to the "pass" category. Great drink selection every time, from interesting beer and wine to creative cocktails and even variety of non alcoholic. This place also has a great atmosphere. Really just wish the food still stood tall.

  Our company recently had our Christmas Party at the Wellington Gastropub and it was a fantastic experience. Shane and Jamal did a great job communicating with me and my team in order to make our night in the White Room a special one. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great and all of the staff were very accommodating. Every step of the way was easy when it came to planning and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. This is a fantastic spot for an intimate team dinner and I highly recommend! Very impressed.
