::Looks like a dive but the steak is amazing. I love it here. Very historic

::I like a good dive probably more than anyone. So this is a great dive. The beer is good, the service is fine, the price is great, the live entertainment is fun despite the acoustics - but I don't trust anything coming out of the kitchen at all.

::I like the Carleton a lot. The Carleton is unique and one of the last of a dying breed...and old school tavern. They have locals that go every day and have done so there whole lives, they do live theatre, darts, pool, sports on tv, a Christmas lunch for the homeless. Beer is cheap, quarts are served, decor is minimal and nothing is new. And the wings are great!

::Place has character and a great atmosphere. Always great specials going on or a band. Friday and Saturday s this place is packed. Regulars here always go back and everyone s on a first name basis. Not sure how old this place is but it's one of the few original tavern s from back in the day . Located right beside the market and very close to downtown.

::The Carleton is a classic and I completely endorse that. I love the retro vibe. The pricing and service is a retro-throwback to the 90's, and the decor is from is untouched, likely from the 80's - so if you're into that, this is your kind of place.
