::I remembered when I got my hamster from them many years ago, Heather (?? I apologize if it wasn't her) allowed me to play with all the long haired Syrian hamsters they had so I can find my match and went over in the greatest details on hamster care. I learned so much that day and Mr. Taffy and I had many good memories together-- he lived to the ripe old age of 2.5 years. Thanks Tails, for introducing me to hamsters that don't bite! :)

::Good service but the price structure was not explained to me before hand. Lucky for me the groomer helped fix the issue we had with the bill.

::A service that has always cost me $50, for my cat to be groomed in less than 30 mins, ended up costing me over $100, but they forgot to use shampoo (they use a scented shampoo every time, this time they didn't), she was patchy all over, and they took less time with her than usual. I don't mind paying more if my cat takes up more of their time, but I was told they were running late after she got dropped off for her 2:30 appnt, and that there were two other animals ahead of her. She was done at 3:30, so I don't know how she took up more of their time (they charge by how long the service takes) if, in one hour, they managed to do my cat, as well as 2 others pets, but I digress. At least if she had left looking and smelling great as usual, I wouldn't mind as much about being swindled for the time it took, but they clearly rushed her. I have pics of patches all over her belly, and butt (that's a real problem area for the cat, and really why I bring her in!), and they (forgot?) the shampoo. The staff are sweet, but this terrible service and My Pet Stores unwillingness to charge me (at the very least) what I always pay, for doing half the job, and one of the poorest quality to date. That was the final nail in the coffin for my last visit. I'm a hair stylist/entrepreneur, and I would never let a human, (let alone an animal if that's your business,) leave my shop with a terrible haircut, without washing their hair, and then have the audacity to charge that client double. Hopefully, moving forward, they'll take steps in ensure that their clients get the same quality service every time, for a cost that doesn't fluctuate like gas prices.

::Tails is a terrific pet store. Diane, Josie and Heather have all taken the time to learn our dog's name. Diane suggested a change in dog food that completely fixed our dog's intestinal distress. When they missed receiving a shipment of food, Diane even tided us over with samples until the shipment arrived. Josie is a terrific groomer who does a great job and is gentle and good natured with the dogs.
