::Half of my jewelry was stolen from my safety deposit box at this location last week. Until now I have not received an answer. I've contacted the police and am waiting for an investigation. Please be careful if you already have or decide to sign up for a safety deposit box at this location.

::Normally really nice staff. I wanted to switch to a student account. Was asked if I wanted a student credit card. I said no. They then still checked my credit and went on and on about not letting so many people check my credit. Wow.

::I had been with Scotia for many years, for both my personal and my business accounts. Due to rude service from Scotia tellers (Vanier branch in particular), I have switched to RBC. I have to say it is a switch I should have done long ago! RBC's fees are lower, they have better hours, Interac eTransfers are free ($1 with Scotia), they don't hold cheque deposits for business accounts (Scotia holds for 5 business days, even with corporate accounts), and cheque hold policy on personal accounts is only 4 business days (5 with Scotia). RBC is way better than Scotia in any way you look at it, and their tellers are actually friendly, unlike Scotia Vanier, where they are rude and condescending, especially the younger blonde woman, who once yelled at me in front of all the people in line for not practicing good banking procedures, even though I was doing exactly what the Scotia rep told me to do when I opened my account.
