::I went to Pilates Unlimited with a low back and neck injury. I was very sensitive and, honestly, a bit upset. Monique and her team have helped me a ton, and are also supportive and understand that I am upset, since they see a lot of injuries. They are great at listening to what I need and adapting my program to work on strengthening, in a way that doesn't irritate my low back or neck. Monique is very agile at coming up with different exercises to meet my needs on any given day. I have really appreciated working with Monique and her team, and will be continuing after I am recovered.

::I’ve run 40+km/week for many years and have had lingering lower back and knee pain as a result… never serious enough to stop running, but picking-up heavy loads or sudden movements could put-out my back, requiring rest for a week+ before returning to the trails. But Pilates Unlimited changed that; Monique’s approach of understanding my body limitations and my goals and adapting a pilates programme to them that has progressively evolved, has allowed me to be continuously pain free and increase my weekly mileage and performance. It’s been a relief and a revelation. I recommend pilates, Pilates Unlimited and Monique to anyone looking for personal attention in overcoming the wear & tear of the physical activity that you most enjoy - so that you can do more of it!

::I have been a client at this Pilates Studio for many years. I started going because I had a herniated spinal disc and many years of chiropractic treatment could only give me temporary relief from the pain and immobility. With a few months of regular sessions, I was free of the spasms and lock ups and I discontinued my chiropractic treatments. Ten years later, I continue the Pilates for the strength, flexibility and fitness. The chronic back issues are a distant memory. I am now 66 years old and I wake up every morning ready to face the day, not creaky and grumpy! They say that up until age 25 the Universe gives you a free body, from 25 to 50 you have the body you deserve, and from 50 onward, the Universe takes it all back. Pilates is a way to have a great functional body and to keep the stiffness and inflexibility of aging at bay.

::I’m very pleased with my experience thus far at Pilates Unlimited, and in particular with my trainer, Monique. I have had 4 private sessions and they have been great! I have osteoporosis issues so it’s important that I have a good trainer who will alert me to which exercises I should or should not do. Monique is very detail-oriented, always corrects my position in every exercise and reminds me how to breathe. She reviewed for me which exercises I should avoid during other activities (like certain aerobics or yoga postures), and which exercises are good for me. She even gave me optional homework exercises to do while watching TV! Her studio location is in the West End, perfect for me. Inside is spotless, light, and airy. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone looking for an excellent Pilates class, whether private or group.

::I attend pilates classes in London, UK, 3 times a week and as I was coming to Vancouver/Whistler for 5 weeks holiday, I wanted to continue with my routine. I emailed Pilates Unlimited and they were very prompt in replying. They took my booking and were exceedingly helpful. I turned up for my first session and found the instructor to be lovely, patient and helpful. I enjoyed each of my classes and would highly recommend them. I will definitely book again when I come next year.
