  Staff are great and welcoming, it's been a month and it still gets me when they greet me as soon as I open the door. Smaller size gym but with an open mind there's always something to do.

  In addition to the $25 joining fee and $50 fee for the key fob, they also charge an annual $30 "gym upgrade fee" every October, regardless of when you actually joined. Such a blatant in-your-face cash grab. We need more gyms in the west end. By the way, i get a feeling there are a lot of fake reviews for this gym. Lots of people with only 1 review giving it 5 stars. Have a read and decide for yourself, and report them to google.

  I’ve been an member of the Denman St. Anytime Fitness since November, 2017. On average, I visit the gym 3-4 times a week and I have always found it to be a well organized, safe and attitude free space to work out in. This well lit gym which opened its doors a few years ago still feels new. Its located on the second floor above Denman St and has numerous windows with views of both Denman and Nelson streets. It is easily accessible, secure and has unlimited 24 hour access. The equipment is well maintained, clean and well laid out. They have a great selection of free weights, multiple weight machines, aerobic equipment (like stair masters, ellipticals and stationary bikes) as well as a mirrored studio and outdoor workout space. There are numerous muted television screens scattered throughout the gym and music is always playing as well. The volume level of the music has never been intrusive, and most of the clientele use their own earphones and listen to their own stuff anyways. The clientele show respect for one another, clean up after themselves and spend their time focused on their work outs. While this gym can get busy there is usually always something available to use while you are going through the individual parts of your program. This gym also has its slow moments too. The management and staff are professional, welcoming and responsive. An issue with main door not unlocking properly was handled quickly and efficiently. The management is also proactive about seeking feedback and is open to questions and concerns. I feel that the cost of joining and the monthly fee is fair for what you receive. I look forward to continuing to be an active member of this gym well into the foreseeable future.

  My name is Vanna, and i have only been with Anytime Fitness for a short time, however, I am in LOVE with this gym. Gary’s boot camp classes alone are worth it! I was reluctant to join for a few reasons, and the big one being the cost. I came from Trevor Lyndon, where I paid 20$/m. That’s hard to beat. BUT it’s insanely close to home, has great classes, the gym is very CLEAN, people are respectful, are open to sharing the equipment, and everyone puts away their equipment, and the staff is lovely! If you’re on the fence, I would say take the week trial, you won’t regret it!!
