Terrible customer service experience at EQ3 in Ottawa. I felt discriminated against and was made to feel like customer is always wrong. No accodamotoon or effort was made to make the experience enjoyable. Tried to simply exchange a low value item (under $50) and instead got a passive aggressivrle exchange with thr store manager who would allow no exceptions. EQ3, Rule #1 to good customer service policy: if a product bought from your store is in perfect condition and can be resold you should exchange it. Rule #2: Never let an unsatisfied customer leave your store. Will continue this complaint with customer service line and store owner. Completely unacceptable.

Happy with our EQ3 furniture and delivery purchased directly from Ottawa store, BUT DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE FOR DELIVERY IN OTTAWA. Online orders are not delivered by EQ3 directly, and we were not aware of this when we placed our order online. Instead we were contacted by an external delivery company - Fred Guy movers - about our order which they originally stated in an email was from Costco, only responded because we wondered if it was actually our order from EQ3. Fred Guy told us they could not schedule a delivery time window and that we needed to be home at all times, when we finally managed to convince them that this would not work for us because we would be at work during the day we provided our availability only to have them call the next day to schedule a time that did not work for us. We cancelled the delivery and asked for a reschedule, and the truck still showed up at 11am although the delivery had been confirmed as cancelled the day before. Called again and was told we could not have a set delivery time, they would deliver whenever. Sent an email stating how displeased we were with the service and that we would be contacting EQ3 to ask them to use a different delivery method. Received an email stating that we could certainly have a set delivery time that worked for our availability and provided a work-weeks worth of times that would work for us. Furniture was still not delivered during that week. Called to check delivery status at the end of the week and was given a 5 hour delivery window for Saturday, furniture was not delivered during this window. Called to check on status of order and was told that our furniture had actually been lost. Received a call on Monday stating that we had missed our delivery on Saturday. We had to inform their staff that we had been notified on Saturday, after not receiving our delivery during the scheduled window and calling their office to follow up, that our furniture is now lost. Just at our wits end with this delivery company. SO unimpressed and disappointed that EQ3 would use such an unsatisfactory, unprofessional and irresponsible company to deliver their furniture. Our order was confirmed delivered in Ottawa 26 days ago and we still have no idea when or if we will actually receive it...

Products are overpriced garbage that you can find much cheaper at IKEA or just about any other furniture retailer. The management is beyond clueless and unhelpful, would not recommend.

The design is not bad, and the furniture looks very beautiful at store. But it’s a disaster when you bring them home. It is very hard to install. Unclear instructions, all different size screws, wired design brackets, missing parts, those almost drove me crazy. I have to say, I have installed hundreds of furniture, their furniture are the hardest one to install. Additionally, they promised me all of my order will be arrive at store in 5 days. It actually took them 11 days to get them prepared. What’s more, their furniture is kinda over priced. It said Canadian made furniture. But it turns out that most of the parts showed that they are made in Indonesia. I will not recommend this to the others. Especially the furniture you need to install yourself.
