::Had brake issues and needed a good mechanic while working downtown. Called them at 9am and they said to bring vehicle right over. Had a quote provided by 9:45 and all the work done by 1:00 with plenty of time to spare before my commute home. They even dropped me off back at work and washed the car! Great service and properly priced. Will definitely be back!

::I broke down in Ottawa in the middle of a road trip, and had to pick a mechanic for emergency repairs. I saw the good reviews online, and gave Silver Automotive a try. I dropped my car off at 4:50 PM the day before, and it was ready by 12 PM the next day. He was able to diagnose my issue correctly, and my car made it the 16 hours back home, running better than it did before my problems began. To top it off, his prices were very reasonable given the amount of work done. I don't live in Ottawa, and at the very least won't be back for a long time, but I would definitely recommend Silver Automotive to anyone who reads this.
Wow What a Show
::I was referred to Silver Auto by a few friends and have used them now on several occasions. They were always knowledgeable, and most importantly delivered my cars on time, repaired properly. Hourly pricing was fair - and because they don't add extras you don't need (or extra labor) they saved me money in the end

::Fair, knowledgeable, and friendly. I've been going to this guy since I got to Ottawa. Definitely a mechanic you can trust.

::I was very impressed with Silver Automotive. I called a few places and they gave me the cheapest estimate. When I dropped off my car, Eric told me that they would find the cheapest option that would also be safe. The positive battery cable had completely corroded near the terminal. It was literally in two pieces. Instead of replacing it, which would have cost a lot (I have an older car and that piece is no longer in production, plus labour), he spliced it and attached a universal terminal. In total, what could have cost me over $200, came out to $60! When I came to pick up my car, Eric showed me the work they did and explained everything. He also said that he guaranteed his work. I'm not sure what proper etiquette is for mechanic work when it comes to payment, I don't know if it's weird to tip them or not. I felt bad afterward for not offering, so I'm writing this honest review in it's place. I would definitely go back there, and highly recommend Silver Automotive.
