::Took the family out on the river the other day and wow, I can't say enough about this little piece of paradise we happened upon. Just three words...CLIFFORD ALLEN ISLAND! I could not believe, it was just so pristine, so gorgeous. God himself must have touched with his very fingerprint the beach where we ate our picnic and prayed together. There was a hum in the air of peace, tranquility, equanimity, and blessedness. I could be getting lost in reverie here but it even felt like the air had a healing quality to it. We saw geese, bluebirds, woodpeckers, even a group of baby ducks! So cute! This island is truly one of Canada's hidden gems and unknown treasures.
