  I started with personal training twice a week with Matty, and then started trying out a few evening classes. Working out with Matty is great, he gives skillful instruction, keeps it fun and interesting, and he is knowledgeable about training. He has helped significantly in my recovery from an injury, continually supportive and understanding. Now after several months I go nearly every day, something I never thought I would do. I have made great friends with everyone which is what keeps me going back. If you want to be successful with your gym goals, you should try Uprise Fit!

  I enjoyed the classes- good variety of exercises to complete. The coaching is very passive. There's no feedback as to whether your form or technique is correct or even advice on how to modify exercises to make them harder/easier

  While I really enjoyed the intro to kickboxing class with Alex, I would not go back. Upon arrival to my first class, Matty (owner/manager?) decided to put me in my place for what he perceived as bad grammar. It was a horrible first impression. Gyms should be the place you knock insecurity out to become a better version of yourself, not fling it at other people to make yourself feel smarter or better.
