  Really well stocked store, a little pricy but there are some real gems in there. There were two ladies working the day I went in to buy a waffle maker and they were super helpful (even suggested some recipes!) I recommend a look.

  Horrible customer service! No joke. I don't remember the last time I was treated so poorly I would give 0 stars if I could. There is one staff person - old man with accent - who is particularly dreadful to deal with. Very defensive and accusatory. He was so busy being rude to me that he didn't make time to listen to me HIS CUSTOMER! In addition to horrible service, the store itself feels extremely cluttered and cramped. I read lots of kitchen equipment reviews. I went into the store expecting to find some of the items that were highly rated. Didn't find many. The store is deceiving. Because it's so cluttered you think there's a lot of hidden treasures on every shelf. But really what's there isn't really all that good (if you seriously know your stuff).   In the heart of trendy neighbourhood Osborne Village, sits this locally owner gem of a house and kitchenware store. Has a large selection of kitchenware, including little gadgets for just about everything.

  If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. I'm not one to complain about a store, but the customer service was atrocious. We ordered a stock pot from them over a month ago and the staff that helped that day were great. We get a phone call that the pot is in, but that we would have to pay an extra 20+ dollars because the price had changed since we ordered it. After we made a fuss about how that is poor customer service and not the consumers fault, he said we could have a refund. This is unfortunately the best price we could find in the city, so we still bought it. But the lack of professionalism was astounding, as was the rude way I was spoken to when I went to pick it up. I know the price change wasn't much, but it is the principle of the situation. Having worked retail for 10+ years myself, I can say that we would never treat our customers this way. We will never be shopping here again, and will advise others of our experience.
