The best afternoon tea I've had in my life! Their scone was very impressive, and it goes very well with their original blended tea which has fabulous flavors. They even gave me the original blended tea leaves in a small box as a souvenir too!

Beautiful and well thought out tea service in a historic and newly renovated setting. Amazing view. Little on the pricy side but a very romantic place. Live piano was played beautifully while we enjoyed tea.

Yes, it's expensive, but you should know that going into it because you're having afternoon tea at the fanciest place in town. They have a wide variety of teas and the servers are happy to explain them to you if you don't know what you want. Definitely have a glass of prosecco too if you want to splurge. The food offerings are typical of an afternoon tea - scones, savory treats, and some sweets. The scones were amazing and the savory treats were good too (several were seafood). The treats were quite pretty and had the visual appeal, but weren't anything to write home about. Definitely worth going to experience it and enjoy a nice afternoon tea.

Beautiful tea room with extensive tea offerings. This is not an I expensive event, but having tea at the Fairmont Empress was delightful. Dress brunch ready and sit in their very well kept tea room. The food included is absolutely delicious, and the service is top notch. You truly feel like an Empress.

It's the experience that you're paying for - be warned now that it's an expensive experience starting at $75 per person but I don't imagine high tea is something you do regularly. We were there celebrating a birthday and it was a great way to do just that. Reservations were made over the phone easily and quickly. We arrived about 20 minutes early and were able to be seated right away. Staff were professional, we especially loved Anna who brought over our tray of savoury and sweet snacks. She took the time to explain each of the items and showed a genuine interest in having a conversation with us. Thank you Anna. Quality of the tea and food was of course top notch - loved the smoked salmon blini. Again, you are paying for the experience and uniqueness of having high tea in an iconic location.
