::Amazing Japanese Restaurant in Victoria! I went a short trip to Victoria and found this restaurant. I LOVED it!! The food was amazing, so tasty and very nice staff too. I tried some berry rolls and it was yummy! They have very fresh sashimi too!

::Staff are amazing. They have a good selection of Japanese whisky that I'll be coming back to taste. They also have Japanese soda pop which was very interesting. The meal I had was amazing. Well put together and tasty. I was a very happy camper.

::Arrived 10 minutes prior to closing after lunch, but the staff welcomed us and their only request was we order within ten minutes. Lots of great looking items on the menu, but we did succeed in placing our order in time. Food was spectacular and the staff was awesome. They did not skimp on presentation even though we kept them working a bit longer into their post lunch, pre dinner break. Next time we are in Victoria, we will make plans to eat here again.

::Walked into Gozen by accident was heading to dinner at another restaurant but decided to give Gozen a try. Staff and atmosphere is very nice and welcoming. It reminds me of a high end izakaya like in Japan. The food is amazing! The chefs are definitely very talented with balancing the flavour and textures. They are also artists when it comes to plating the food as well! So it pleases the eye and nourishes the soul. Thank you Gozen for such an amazing dinner, it was definitely a treat! Will definitely be returning! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
