Do yourself a favour and come to a class at Square1! And after you come to a class tell all of your friends to go there too. Seriously the best workout in the most encouraging and supportive environment. Each trainer is amazing and brings something different to the table. Go get your sweat on ASAP!

I love this gym! All of the staff make you feel very welcome and the instructors have equally challenging classes with their own unique style, so it never gets boring. The classes are small which allows the trainers to help with form more, which is really important to me since I have a bad knee. Also, the workouts are hard, fast and fun with great music too!

Great gym. Benefits include a wide selection of class times, class types, and instructors. From cardio to strength training there are classes for all. Tas, Heidi, Nate, and Cy work hard to ensure classes are challenging but fun. Each has their own style. A mobility class is also offered to ensure you stay loose, improve flexibility, and recover quickly. Workshops are offered occasionally on weekends on specific topics and are designed to enhance your fitness transformation. Showers/towels/soap are complimentary and there is ample parking on the street, in the adjacent lot, or at the Safeway nearby. Close to downtown with several coffee shops and a bakery within walking distance which works well after a morning workout. I'd recommend giving this place a try, you might not look back.

Undoubtedly one of the best boutique gyms in Calgary. Their trainers are top-notch, enthusiastic and observant. Classes are challenging yet fun. They have all the no-nonsense equipment of a modern gym -- barbells, pull up bars, medicine balls, benches, etc. Plus the essentials of a kickboxing gym -- heavy bags, gloves, pads and a ring. They hit a sweet spot in terms of class size to space ratio. And the balance of kickboxing and bootcamp style classes make this a worthwhile place to get fit.
