Worst customer service ever. The sale ladie in the cosmetic area didn't gave me time to go around and compare the products or decide if I wanted sth else. She took me to the cashier directly. She was so rude that I decided not to buy. Someone should fire her.

This is a great place to get something quick like Tylenol and energy drinks, the staff is helpful but the self checkout machines are terrifying 0/10 would not recommend

Pharmacy at this Shoppers Drug Mart is awful. I asked for help on a product after I could not find it. Went to the counter and asked for help as the Pharmacy Assistant was in the counter (she is asian, has a foreign English accent and on her name tag that says she speaks Russian or some language like that). Lo and behold, not only is she lazy but she just said, if it's not out there, then we don't have it. So I asked if she can check the database. She pretends she is searching. It took her 5 minutes to pretend that she is finding the item (her definition of finding something is actually looking on a piece of paper of what she was working on prior to me asking and continues to look and type from the paper. Then, decides to play with me by pressing the space bar key for 1 minute to pretend she is working). Really? Not only is she lazy but has no work ethic. How did she get this job? I don't know. Regardless, the rest of the staff members that included a short Asian man with large cystic acne and pus on his skin, with thick and dark Ray Ban glasses and wears a UBC pharmacist lab coat was just literally joking out loud with another female staff members all throughout. Seriously, the entire Pharmacy staff does not work and it appears to me that they take this job a joke). I thought it was just me that experienced this but I am not surprised there is another person here complaining. I left and went a few blocks up to go to London Drugs and staff were more than happy to help me.

I don't think customer service exists here. I went upstairs to the pharmacy to pick up some drugs and I wanted to check with the pharmacist to see if the drugs I was planning to buy could be taken together. A girl at the counter who was not a pharmacist told me to wait. I asked her about how long the wait will be, and she looked extremely annoyed, rolled her eyes and brushed her hand to a direction and told me to wait. It was as if I asked a vulgar question when I was only inquiring about how long the wait would be, as no one else was lining up there. When the pharmacist finally became available, she was also impatient and did not seem to care about my concerns. If was as if I should just help myself and get the drugs, pay and get out of there. Despicable.

Lost my dignity, got yelled at, and left emotionally and physical distressed I walked in, sick with severe cold, had a half an hour commute, and realized I may be on my period. So I rushed to the nearest Shoppers drug Mart. I talked to a lady working for the cosmetic section and asked if I could use the washroom to check if I had my period or not. She gave me a hard glance and said there was no public washroom. I was already on the brink of distress, but she showed no sign of sympathy. I felt helpless, defeated, and ignored. She did not treat me with a shred of customer appreciation, a shred of humanity. I bought a box of pads and left to find another washroom as soon as possible. But I had already stained my underpants and pants. Already damaged and distressed, I went back to the store to find some form of apology. Instead, I'm met by with her reluctance to give me her name, proceeding to walk out. Another man, who was working for Shoppers although he was not wearing Shoppers clothing, started to condescendingly retort, "YOU'RE COMPLAINING BECAUSE THERE WAS NO WASHROOM?". He proceeds to repeatedly yell that at me in front of everyone. Already mentally distressed, I started crying. At which point he simply brushed me off. The other employees in the store proceeds to give me the cold shoulder. The assistant manager obligingly giving me the corporate treatment, apologizing that there is no washroom. But it wasn't about the washroom, it was about being treated like a human and given some sympathy. After the assistant manager apologized about no public washroom, I walked out the store again, knowing I wasn't going to get my point across. However, I was already sick and distressed enough to cause a 10 minute nosebleed. The picture below is taken at 5:45 of the aftermath of my nosebleed. So by now, I was crying and bleeding in the washroom. I don't think I would been put through so much emotional and physical distress if it wasn't for the poor behavior of these Shoppers drug Mart employees. Please encourage employees to be sympathetic and discourage employees banding up against a customer.
