  I do not agree with some bad reviews. I think the stuff are trying their best. Do not expect too much from the stuff. They are not train trademen or well informed sales people. I know for a fact i ordered some treads and risers for my stair. They did not have enough stocks but they tried to get it from other stores to make it up. When they are all in, they call me to pick it up. Give them a break will you.

  I’ve experienced some of the worst costumer service in my life at this North Vancouver location. I recently bought a gas power wash unit from this store. I took it home and used it once, during that time the unit leaked gas all over the place and was clearly not working the way a new unit should. I called the store and spoke to the manager about the possibility of returning it or exchanging it and he said bring it in. After taking it to the store and expecting an exchange or a refund, they told me they will not exchange or return the unit, however they will handle the repair. I told them I do not want a repaired unit I want a new unit. (It had been 3 days since I bought the power washer) Unfortunately, the manager kept hiding behind the store policy and refused to address my concerns. He told me the repair would take 1-2 days. After seeing I had no alternative I agreed to the repair. After 2 days of not hearing back from the manager I called to follow up. After he spoke with the repair shop, he proceeded to tell me that they can not find a leak and now the power wash will not even start. I told him, given this situation he needs to refund my money, to which he still refuses. Sadly, Rona has lost me as a customer for life unless this situation can be resolved to my satisfaction. I want a refund and nothing short of that. By the way I still do not have the unit back or an eta or even an indication of what is wrong.   Horrible experience. Was treated in a very rude and demeaning manner. Would highly recommend avoiding this location and instead taking some extra time to go the other north van location.

  Purchased paint during the buy 2 get the 3rd for free. Purchased 6 gallon cans. When entered at by the cashier the price seemed to be about $90 too much. The cashier insisted it was correct and I had received the discount. I again asked her to check and she claimed the discount was applied. I paid and reviewed my receipt prior to leaving the store. Upon review it became instantly obvious I did not receive the discount. After going over the receipt for 5 minutes, the cashier finally realized that I did not receive the discount. IT took another 15 minutes to complete the refund transaction due technological difficulties. I was not pleased with the manner Rona had or should say Rona's point of purchase system should have this programmed into it. I am sure there would be people who thought they got the discount but actually paid for the 3rd can. This was a good deal and the sérvice person in paints was excellent. But being delayed 20 plus extra minutes so I could be refunded the money I should have never been charged.
