  took a long time at the teller as he couldn't understand ENGLISH.. i could barely understand what he was saying.i had to repeat my self at least 4 times with every question..won't be going back.2 min at the teller turned into 15 min..please hire english speaking canadians

  I try to call the local number thinking is local, but no, I was redirected to a Montreal number, then I was redirected back to the local branch, after 5 mins of waiting have to leave a message. pathetic.

  The people at this branch are the friendliest and most caring I have dealt with! I was really impressed with the staff. I was trying to get mortgage approved with my partner and we were first help by Anish, an awesome guy who prepared all the paper work and started the process right away. Then we were transfered to a mortgage specialist to finalize everything and Sandra from the 220 Portage branch was by far the best mortgage specialist I could hope for. She was quick doing the work, she was easy to reach by text message even on Saturday. She went out of her way to get us mortgage approved late Friday night from her home computer so we could know for sure by the weekend to put an offer on the house we wanted on Saturday morning. She kept in touch to make sure everything went well on saturday afternoon. When we finalized everything on Monday with the offer and all, we were personally congratulated by the bank manager Linda and assistant manager Heather as well as the receptionist Sharron who had all help us with the process. Normally you would think service like that only happens for the richer people, but at this branch, I was treated like a really important customer even though I'm just an average person with an average account with average credit. Thank you to the staff at RBC 220 Portage, I felt valued and will be sticking to RBC!!
