Short Story: - Incompetent staff and advice. - Proper animal nutrition is definitely not on their list of competence. - Over selling medications, diets, and even operations - Willing to cut short checkups in order to make room for other patients. Overall: The clinic treats animals as objects and do not take animal health seriously. It scares us to have seen what this clinic was willing to put an innocent animal through for the sake of banking in extra cash. Long Story: We brought our cat to this clinic for a check up having high expectations based on all the good reviews, but we left feeling very uneasy at first and horrified upon consulting others about this clinic. Our cat was a healthy 4 year old with absolutely nothing wrong with it. We usually go along and agree with the vet throughout the session and see how honest he/she was and if they tried to push "added services" that were not needed. Within 10 minutes, they hypothesized genetic illnesses, required blood tests, prescribed medications, recommended a special diet, and suggested 3 operations... all based on "a sound they were not comfortable with". Of course, it just so happened to be that they carried a store-full of supply of the diet they're recommending and the medication they're prescribing. They could also do the operations and blood tests on site. "WOW" was the understatement of the year. To finish off, they "wrapped up" the rest of the checkup procedure and skipped some in order to make time for the next appointment. I want to say that I understand they are a busy clinic, but that is no excuse to "wrap up" a medical check up. Animal health should be taken seriously and not "as a business" that you over sell on and wrap up. We took our cat else where and was confirmed to be fine in every aspect. This was a while back and he's as healthy as ever. It scares us to think what these people were willing to put an innocent animal through for the sake of banking in extra money. By the way, with regards to the cat/dog food they carry in store and "recommend": That food is the junk food of animal nutrition. In human terms, they're carrying Burger King and marketing it as a healthy alternative to Mcdonald's. Neither are a choice you should put your pet on. These foods contain things like "chicken/salmon.. by-products" and "chicken/salmon.. meal". That is what major brands can legally use to label things like ground up nails, skin, beaks, and feathers mashed together to form a digestible paste. It is also known to contain chemicals and materials proven to be harmful for pets. If you want to feed something to your pet, make sure it does not contain the words "products, by-products, meal". I understand it will be hard to find but google is your best friend. There's a place called little bear in downtown and another called bailey blu around monkland. Also I can recommend the following brands in order of preference (i only tried them on cats though): - Weruva (cats). My favorite, you could eat it yourself and would never know it's cat food. that's because it actually comes out from the same factory line that goes into human canned foods. - Wellness (cats & dogs) - Nature's variety (cats & dogs) cheers,

Wonderful vet in a tiny space. Didn't try to sell me unnecessary treatments. I feel like they really care and have the best interests of our pets at heart.

I've visited here twice with my cat so far. Every time the staff and the vet were professional and friendly. They try their best to answer all my questions and I never feel rushed or unimportant. I think their prices are very fair. I strongly recommend this vet if you are looking for one.

Though i do have a vet clinic right next to my place, i decided to go with reviews and to visit this place. The staff is very nice and professional, the clinic has great schedule and there's a street parking available. Normally my cat wouldn't allow any manipulations beyond standard petting, so i watched amazed at how the doc carefully examined her ears, teeth and heartbeet. He also gave a good consultation on nutrition and care. Would definitely go back and recommend it to friends.
