  I have been going to Nouvelle Maria for years. The decor is dated, no question, but the service I have received since day one has been consistent. Maria is warm and welcoming and is truly humbled by her repeat clients. Monica is phenomenal and always, always, always does the most fantastic job when it comes to shaping my eyebrows and tinting my lashes. It's been a long time since I used any of their other services, so I cannot speak to the cleanliness of the change rooms or any of the other facilities. I can say, however, that I will continue to visit Nouvelle Maria because of the level of service.

  Was told $40 for a 25 minutes massage over the phone. I told the therapist that I can take a good amount of pressure. He asked if I wanted a deep tissue but failed to state there would be a price difference. They tried to charge me $70 for the massage. I refused. They told me $55 for the 25 minute Swedish massage, which I ended up paying. Very disappointed with the manager. She inferred that it was all my fault. Never going back!!

  This is hands down the most surreal spa experience I have ever had. The spa decor was accurately placed in 1990 when it was opened. The facilities were beyond outdated: changerooms like an institution, showers musty and mouldy with the original shower heads, waiting area like my grandmothers tacky basement, ‘treatment’ rooms without a floor to ceiling wall in which my RMT could not walk around the the table and your neighbour could hear you, scummy floor and cabinetry ....it was appalling. The RMT was professional and competent but the ambiance was so unappealing that it made relaxation difficult . The shock is that it is physically attached the The Omni King Edward Hotel which precluded me from even reading the review prior to booking . For shame King Edward .
