  Love staying here in the heart of James Bay. The room was bright and comfy and very quiet, despite overlooking Government Street. The shower temperature can fluctuate markedly and the rooms tend to be very warm at night which is why we give it a 4 and not a 5. We will come back again.

  Delicious breakfast. We came in with a group of six people and they got us a large table. Coffee was good, omelet was really good. I love their hash browns, they are sliced potatoes browned nicely on both sides. Overall a pleasure to eat there.

  The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is a walking distance from historical places, shops, pubs, restaurants and transport. The rooms are OK just poorly lit. I reserved a room with a view but the view was just a street. The restaurant closes early but the pub is open a little later if you need to get dinner - You get a 15% discount if you’re a guest. The staff are helpful, friendly and cheerful. It has an old time charm which I like.

  This place was recommended to me by a good friend and we were not disappointed. Close to walking distance of downtown. Staff friendly and the rooms clean, cozy and very comfortable. Staff in bar were quick efficient and food good. Will try the restaurant for breakfast as we were told it was good.

  What a great hotel! It felt like stepping back into time - in a good way. Everything is well kept and clean, and all the personnel I dealt with (both hotel and restaurant) we're friendly and helpful. Although breakfast isn't included, it still felt like good value for money. See you soon!
