We might of went on a off day but our food wasn't that great, the coleslaw was bland, our smoke brisket wasn't terrible but it wasn't great, the pull pork was meh...how can you have Smoke BBQ restaurant and not have homemade sauces or at least partner up with somebody? The decor of the restaurant was awesome and had local painting's you can purchase, which I thought was a great idea. Our services wasn't really that good, she only had two tables and it was very slow, it almost seem there was something else on her mind... We would of had more drinks but she never came by and took forever to clean off our plates after appetizers. The potato skins were actually the best part of our meal, but why serve an odd number? I might sound picky but this restaurant has great potential to being a lot better. The presentation of your food was weak as well.... Add dipping sauces and maybe a slice of corn bread and garnish the plates... do something because a lot of it isn't working... Go to the restaurant Meat in Edmonton and get inspired by them.

Food tasted great I had the beef brisket on a bun, good location downtown, seems like the kind if restaurant/bar thats missing in the downtown area plus the waitress had an excellent sense of humor.

Very tender ribs with a great sauce. Awesome onion rings but I would not get the poutine again. Ordered the full rack o ribs and was completely stuffed halfway through.

First and likely the last visit. Father and I went around 730pm. One server working, she was nice enough, somewhat direct, but didn't seem like she had a huge customer service background. We started with the potato skins with pulled pork and they were amazing, only complaint is that there's 5 skins... where do you get 2.5 potatoes? And sharing with an odd number is never good. For dinner my father had the half rack of ribs with onion rings and mashed potatoes, the ribs were very hard, which they replaced with more tender yet still underwhelming ones. I had the beef brisket sandwich with yam fries. Brisket was slightly rubbery and not all that tender. The onion ring on the sandwich is definitely frozen, homemade or chrunchier rings would be 100% better. Yam fries were amazing with the chipotle mayo. Best part of the experience was the potato skins for sure.

Pretty damn good BBQ! Not that we've been to any southern States to sample any legit BBQ joints. We've eaten at Louisana Purchase in Edmonton and they insist they're authentic. This, while not as fancy, is great! We got "Jack's Date Platter" which is three meats and three sides. Plus, a kids chicken fingers with cold veggies and dip for our toddler. The service was excellent and the food great. Our toddler had a meltdown over the cornbread because we took it away as we didn't want him to stop eating the rest of his food (no really, that's some delicious cornbread. He liked it so much he learned to say cornbread!) and was thrilled when he got more after he'd mostly finished his meal.
