I like their selection of grocery and the bakery. All in a comparably reasonable price.

Good prices, good variety for those hard to find items for Chinese food. Nice little bakery and a delight section.

Only English, Mandarin and Cantonese spoken. NO French. Cashier's are not trained on customer service and have difficulty understanding and expressing themselves. Does carry a good amount of food stuffs that African and Caribbean people enjoy; however, sadly overt racism was shown by more than one employee and that is why the lower rating.

I saw a rat here tonight. I discovered this supermarket not long ago and shopped there a few times. I liked that they had fruits and veggies different from other grocery stores, and a lot of Asian sweets, spices, condiments, teas etc. that I couldn't get at Loblaws, for example. But even the person who told me about this store warned me about the meat, saying it's better to steer clear of that section. And I was always slightly bothered by how unclean the store seemed, but I guess not enough to stop going completely. I just never imagined that it would be so bad that actual rats lived there. And as I saw it [the rat], I noticed that one of the employees saw it too, but he didn't do anything. It was the end of the day, they were about to close, the last customers were leaving, and he was probably too tired to deal with it. Also, I'm sure they had all seen the rats before and were generally aware of them. That was the impression I got from his tired attitude toward that rat. I personally didn't see a reason to say anything about it to them, because like I said, it seemed like they knew of the issue. I was a little torn about whether or not I should report that to the city or whoever looks after public sanitation? But I don't know, I decided not to ruin their business, they work super-hard. So I came here instead to warn potential customers. Watch out, big rats live right in the store.
