  WARNING: Avoid crusty Greybeard at all cost! Not the first time this happens but will be the last time I say nothing about it. Not saying he doesn't know his biz. It's just that I get better vibes and lip service from a GM whose out to get me/a dead fish. Got my head bitten off for asking, "Is there anyway you would know when you would be getting more (name of game line) in?". Greybeard just went at me breaking down how dumb my question was as though I had just spontaneously defecated in his newspaper or favourite DnD Player's HB. Cons: Shelves could use a solid Shopvac pass. Better lighting bulbs would help with potential customers checking out the inventory without enticing eye strain. Pros: Gaming stock is solid most of the time. Location: Great and easy stop over (1-2 blocks from transit) when returning commuting to or through downtown. Used to shop here from a time when Fandom II was across from OU. For me, not worth risking contemptuous verbal diarrhea or antagonism anymore. Hope your experience will be better.

  Best rpg store in town. Best prices as well. Very knowledgeable staff.

  Stopped by the store today and had an surprisingly pleasant visit. I was prepared for a challenging shopping experience as I'm female, needed assistance, and had mediocre visits to Fandom in the past, but... The owner was incredibly helpful and polite. I hope this is indicative of a new trend at the store (and not just a one-off experience). The selection of board games is solid, and if they don't have it in stock, they'll order it in. Lots of miniatures and books for various RPG (roleplaying game) systems.

  So this place is interesting. The owner really does not give two shirts about customer service, and doesn't even seem to have a great handle on whats going on. I kind of love it though... its like any random person with zero experience decided to open a store one day, and actually did. So good on em', i guess. If you like the feel a non-corporate shop run by regular joes, with no artificially friendly service staff BS... this might be the nerd-shop for you.

  One of my favourite board game stores in Ottawa. Prices are very competitive, much better than almost every other place I've been to. The store owners are a little brusk at first but are eager to chat about various topics. Good selection too, though it's a little tough to find a particular choice without looking through most of the shelves.
