Worst hotel in Guelph noisiest hotel ever had to complain everynight upper floor door slams everytime young kids running the hallways after 12 a complete joke manager is a joke night staff a joke breakfest a joke couldnt even get strawberry jam for a FULL week i was there had to move the very first night to another room my last night was filled with a team group that the manager lied about. Also many many locals warned me it was the worst with local escorts taking up many of the rooms. Dont ever ever stay here.

Go somewhere else. Halls are smelly, towels are small and like sandpaper, no laundry facilities even though some websites say it does have, thin walls, pathetic continental breakfast offering, terrible wifi and one day housekeeping just skipped my room. And little enforcement of rowdy guests cruising hallways. Iron in my room but no ironing board.

I'm a young guy who came to Guelph University for a 1 month educational short course. I called the days inn and booked a room a month in advance. It was discussed on phone and through email that I would pay a flat out fee for my time being there. Taxes Included. I arrived and for the first 2 days everything went well. The 3rd day I received a phone call from the front desk saying that they forgot to charge me the taxes when I arrived. I went to the front desk to explain how I was told taxes where included in negotiations. They told me that whoever phoned and emailed me must have messed up and that they needed me to pay the extra $218.40 to stay. Very unprofessional and unorganized. I do not recommend staying here. I feel uncomfortable and unhappy with everything that has happened.

Friendly staff. Reasonably clean and reasonably quiet. Good price for the area. I'd recommend checking prices on other nearby hotels first - when there is a sale or discount you could get many more 'extras'.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. Will not stay here again. I booked 2 rooms for my birthday 3 weeks prior. I was there to check in at 3:30, only one of my rooms were clean. As I was going to get ice (since there are no fridges in the rooms) I overheard 5 housekeepers as they were standing around, talking and swearing how they were fed up with their day, and that they still had to go home and get ready before a party they were going to that night. Experience in housekeeping- I helped them by stripping the room for them. When we were going for dinner at 6pm, the room was still not ready. As we were eating, I get a phone call from the hotel saying that there is a 'problem' with the room and they had to book one room at a different hotel down the road. This was not okay with me as I wanted everyone to stay together for my birthday. When we got back to the hotel, a housekeeper was cleaning the room- we finally checked into the room at 8:17pm. The room was still filthy. Pictures are attached, an old coffee spilled on the heater, hairs in the bathtub, soap scum covered the shower walls, pubic hair on and feces in the toilet, blood or similar on the counter. Bringing all of this to the attention of the man at front desk, he was going to give me a $25 discount on the room, when he called his manager for approval, she said no- and I was only given a 15% discount of $16. I would not have even rated this one star but that is the bare minimum it would allow. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
