Have purchased building supplies, hardware etc. from lumber yard and have been fairly satisfied, but I think that you are at a disadvantage in that I cannot view your inventory on line. If I need a saw for example I can go on line at other stores and see what is available and at what price, and my purchase decision is made before I leave home.

There were a few issues with the paint pigment machine as I was buying my paint. This caused some pretty large delays as she had to manually match each color. While apologizing profusely and working very hard she maintained a very friendly demeanor and did her very best to fix the paint. During this time my toddler was getting restless. The other staff that was helping in the paint area preceeded to (with my permission) give my toddler tic tacs from their own personal supply. When she continued to be restless I mentioned she would be settled with ketchup (we had stopped for food on the way and she was carrying around her fries) one of the staff members disappeared for a few minutes and came back with the bottom portion of a coffee cup, full of ketchup. My toddler was delighted and it really just blew me away. Above and beyond! I will be back for every hammer screw and nail I need in the future. Thanks coop staff! (I really wish I had taken down their names so I could mention these staff members specifically)

Good selection of items that can be bought by the pound (screws and nails) or length (flashing, screen, flexible ductwork, etc.)

Locally owned, great experience. I forgot part of my order at the store last time. They phone me back the next day to let me know I had forgotten it. That's great customer service.
