I went to see Dr. Moore today because I've been having some pain and I was really concerned that something was wrong. I haven't had the best luck with dentists in the past... so I have a lot of anxiety around going! But he and Roxanne (his assistant) and their lovely receptionist were absolutely kind, reassuring, compassionate in addition to being professional. I am still blown away. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was ok. Turns out that my pain is muscular and not anything to do with my teeth too and they provided me with resources to address the issue. So thank you SO MUCH to the whole team for one of the most caring experiences I've ever been blessed with.

The receptionists and hygienists are all lovely. Shame about the dentists. I had a horrible experience at this dentist. I had a filling done on a wisdom tooth that ended up being deeper than Dr. Moore suspected on X-rays. He palpably panicked about not being able to put a filling in it (since it was flush up to the wet gum), managed to bodge in a temporary filling, and immediately washed his hands of me and told me to go to another (specialist) dentist to get it extracted. I found another dentist recommended by my friend, who I went to for a second opinion. He saved the tooth and put in a nice filling. Subsequent to this, when I started going regularly to this new and, frankly, awesome dentist, I got the chance to see the X-rays of some of the fillings previously done at Centretown Dental, and they were a mess - they were touching neighbouring teeth and irregularly shaped instead of smooth. Dr. Moore never followed up on my wisdom tooth, and I was taken aback by the standard of care I received during dental procedures. Having said that, whenever I went for a teeth cleaning, I was always extremely happy with my experience with the hygienists. I would never recommend this dentist, and would encourage people to find a different practice to support their dental needs.
