  One of the worst hotels I ever stayed at. Beds are old and I was itchy all night. People banging on doors and screaming for no reason. Don't stay here. There's way better cheap hotels

  Horrible. .. this place was a nightmare ... the hallway had a nasty stench .... the room stinks of weed ,booze and cigarette. Never make a mistake renting this place. The rooms are not worth 20$. Wen checking out they accused me of stealing their towels and charged me $60. This messed up my credit

  We are a young family, who come to Calgary to do shopping about twice a month. We thought we would try a "cheaper" hotel, don't be fooled by their cheap rates. From time we got to hotel, room smelt like smoke, room was dirty, & very run down, very noisy & management does nothing about other people being loud. I did not feel comfortable having my family in room, but we had already paid the $70 (+ deposit which they kept) so we decided to stay, contacted the cleaning lady but she did not come by while we were shopping, we checked out... went home. One week later I receive my credit card statement, & the room costs our small family over $170, (which was supposed to be $70) for a very crappy room. Will never stay here again, just pay the extra $20-$30 to get a nice room at a reputable hotel. I should have known from their 2* review how bad the place was, don't risk bringing your family here without expecting them to keep your deposit claiming you ruined something or left something dirty. We don't drink, we don't smoke, all we did was bring our family to sleep, and leave to go to zoo & shopping. Terrible customer service, worst hotel experience I've had.

  Awful. Shortly after we arrived the police also showed up. Check in took 45 minutes as their debit machine was not working, front desk attendants at both check in and check out were rude. They billed the entire stay on my credit card before we arrived and still demanded a deposit up front, made us wait 20 minutes at check out as they went to the room with gloves on to inspect before returning our refund. Very much a shady place, I do not recommend anyone stay there. Pay the extra and go somewhere with somw professionalism.

  DO NOT STAY HERE! Worst experience I've ever had! I was in Calgary for my sisters baby shower and booked a room through Expedia for 2 nights. the first night I was harassed by a drunk guy from the room next door who was yelling the entire night. The next day I get a call from the office stating that a towel from my room had a stain on it and I needed to pay for it. First off I had not even used a single towel and had turned down room service when they came by. I demanded to see the towel and the lady pretended to not speak English or understand me and just kept saying that if I didn't pay for the towel she would be keeping my deposit. Obviously I rationalized a $35 towel was not worth a $200 deposit and paid the charge. I was gone for whole second day and didn't return until midnight that night. I went straight to bed and when I woke up I used the pot provided to make some instant oatmeal and checked out of the room. After going out for breakfast with an old friend I checked to see if they had returned my security deposit and noticed they didn't. I called to find out what the delay was and I was informed that I was not getting my security deposit back because there was a dirty pot left in the sink. i tried to argue with the lady but she hung up on me! My flight was leaving soon and I had to get to the airport so I cut my loses and vowed to never stay at this motel ever again! I told myself all I can is hope to warn others of this shady establishment and prevent this from happening to anyone else.
