  We just love visiting Commons after a night at the Union Club. Excellent food, good drink prices, fantastic staff and ideal location; you couldn't ask for better! They also have a great little sushi bar as one half of the restaraunt in the back. Always recommending the burger :)

  I have walked, driven and ridden by this restaurant perhaps a few hundred times and for whatever reason never ate there. That changed two weeks ago when an old friend flew into town on Harbour Air and wanted to meet nearby. That experience on the patio led to my coming back with my 12 member Thursday Evening Dinner (TED) Club in tow. Let me explain. The service and food quality on the first visit was clearly not a one off as the members were met with the same knowledgeable, personable staff who genuinely connect to make your dining experience a pleasant one. The décor is modern and funky with the right lighting and music. High ceilings provide an airy, open feel and spacing between tables is just right. There is an obvious focus on the customer and creating a casual, yet elegant dining experience. All entrées were served up promptly and won over the group in terms of presentment, portion size, and most importantly, taste. The menu affords a wide selection of locally sourced favourites sure to please all palates and ages. The outdoor patio is comfortable with sufficient heating to chase away the night chill and affords good people watching and a nice view of the inner harbour. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and level of service offered. Special thanks to Chelsea, Italo, and Liam for their service, warmth and attentiveness. We are super excited to have discovered a real gem on the Victoria dining scene and will return!

  The food and service is always great here. This is one of my favourite places in Victoria for a casual food and drink with a friend. The best part is most the food is grown in Saanichton.

  Nice patio. Good service. Ran out fish for fish & chips which was disappointing. Great to know you are consuming local produce. My dish, seafood arabiata, was well done. Calamari batter wasn't as crisp as we would have liked. My husband enjoyed his burger but but his enthusiasm was muted by the fact it wasn't fish & chips.

  A favorite for a great Friday night outing with my fiancé! Delicious meals made with products from their 10-acres farm (hence the name) as a true farm-to-table concept. Nice ambiance with screens to watch sport events, a great bar with a good selection of wines, beers and cocktails. Perfect for happy hour with colleagues, fun evening with friends, or simply chill evening out with your partner! I can’t help but get the tacos every time, and my partner raves about the lamb burger!
