Really enjoyed my 18oz rib steak. I asked for rare, and received a perfect rare steak. The meat is dry aged to the industry standard of 28 days and honestly for most people, this will be the perfectly ripe age for steak. Tender meat. Highly recommend with a sauce au poivre on the side. For dessert I went with the multi layer chocolate cake and I was not disappointed. Perfectly moist with a rich chocolate flavor that really just makes you want to punch someone in the face because it's so good. My meal was well paired with a Bordeaux and washed down with a 20 year Porto for dessert. 4\5 Would eat again

Our evening at Vargas was a desaster because they do not know how to prepare a steak. Our steaks even after getting a replacement were completely burnt on the outside and raw and cold inside. They still insisted that this was the way the steaks should be!

we went to this restaurant on friday night, and I have to say the food was great, the grilled octopus very good, and also the sushi. But the problem is the reception the hostess was very cold, she did not smile once or say anything. then the waiter was the same no smile, and we kept being very polite and thanking him for bringing us our drinks or food, we got almost nothing from him , and everytime we wanted to order a drink or food, we had to call him over, I would say about 5 times. he never came and asked us is everything okay, do you need anything.... nothing!!! so we tipped him 10%.

Delicious food and excellent atmosphere! We had the Walleye with caramelized pears and the Lamb Shank. We also ate the Mango Tango (or whatever its called) as an appetizer. Delicious would definitely come back again!

The sushi was stellar. Experienced the "apple of my eye" maki roll. Also had a rare flank steak with the grilled vegetables. For dessert if you have a party of two or more, the chocolate cake with a cheesecake layer was decadent and rich. Great selection of beer as well.
