::This station is a great one if it was in 1970s. In 2018, I'm sorry, I feel shameful if someone mentions it - especially after a ridiculously long renovation - and still you have no idea how many years it is going to last. If I'm right the work started in pan AM games 2015 and it was supposed to finish in that year. Simply the extra low efficiency (every public sector, not just this one) will make Toronto and Canada being very behind. Sadly many other countries are quickly catching up. There is no time to waste and soon we are going to be called "the third world". The station is just one of many examples reflecting the embarrassing fact - the western is sinking. Many politicians are still talking about those nonsense (you know what I'm talking about). Political correctness will not save us, we eventually will lose if we don't wake up now. I Love Canada - that's why I feel sad seeing the biggest train station in this country still look like a cr*p after years and years work and billions of tax dollars have been "invested".

::With it's central location downtown, easy access to a wide array of public transport options, and historical significance, Union Station is ubiquitous to any Toronto visit. Among other services of note, find an Ontario Tourism office where one can easily find guides and answers regarding the whole province, and several quick bite eateries in the concession area. Balzac's, near the UP Express platform, is my favourite. Of particular artistic value, take note of the architecture of the grand hall. The unavoidable trade-off is that everything is at a significant walking distance, and structural limitations make for many bottlenecked crowds, and difficulties for those who require mobility assistance.
