::Been a few times for various shows. Decent place (small though), staff very friendly, decent selection of beer at standard prices. Shows are cheap too. As some people said, arrive very early if you want to sit down for a show, otherwise expect to stand the whole time...which is much less fun. Seating is EXTREMELY limited. If you do get a seat expect to pay for it with an obstructed view of the stage because people will stand in front of you. I probably won't return unless it's someone I REALLY want to see.

::Went for the Toronto Poetry Slam. Good vibes but be prepared to stand up or sit on the floor if you do not arrive BEFORE doors open.. or alternatively get a friend to save you a seat.. there were many empty chairs because of this. It was packed and difficult to walk through

::The night I went (Saturday night) the place was extremely packed and was filled well over capacity. Drinks were average price for downtown Toronto. Music was good and barely waited in any line to get in.

::My favourite place in the city to see bands perform. Stage lights are clear and bright, decor is whimsical and fun, and the sound of live music is studio quality pristine. Seated and standing options are available, as well as an elevated mezzanine where the bar is (smartly) located, at the back. Staff are friendly and helpful.
