::yes i unfortunately found the same. I have always tried to maintain good relations with the police -but they seemed to think my recent repeated efforts to put a stop to endless haranguing, stalking and obstruction around some extremely severe problems managed by several agencies was entertaining or timewasting. Believe me it is not. They allowed ridiculous escalation of smaller problems by those with other agendas by not assisting with de-escalation. They allowed my young sons life to be wasted for years by failing to assist and address the issues. They did nothing to assist with flagrant abuses of power in the zone of some extremely severe bigger problems. This was at every station I tried.

::absolutely terrible.... officers drunk with power, front desk rude and void of compassion, all working together to sweep away the unethical actions and inappropriate behavior of their division. From our experience "to serve and protect" means to serve and protect "their" interests apparently. welcome to the police state a real black eye on the face of Canadian law enforcement

::absolutely terrible. i went to file a report against my abusive now EXboyfriend and as i explained to the lady at the front desk my situation the male cop blatantly said "boo hoo cry me a river". i was so shocked and stunned by his remark i didn't even know what to say. i simply turned around and walked out. i do not understand why anyone would choose a profession such as being a police officer if they couldn't be bothered with hearing "sob" stories. i advice anyone seeking to report an incident such as this to go to a different police division or perhaps ask to only speak to a female police officer.
