  Terry has been my family’s financial advisor for almost 10 years. Before finding Terry, I worked with several other financial advisors, none of whom provided me with the same level of trust and confidence. Being a recently retired corporate/commercial lawyer, I considered myself a “somewhat sophisticated investor”, but didn’t have the time or discipline to educate myself to the point where I’d feel comfortable relying on my own investment decisions. Terry explains things in a way that I can understand (rather than hiding behind jargon, as so many investment advisors do) and explains the rationale behind all of his recommendations. He’s always available to discuss and entertain alternative investment strategies (i.e. a reliable sounding board), and is disciplined in arranging periodic meetings to review my family’s financial situation and goals. Terry understands that our securities investments are part of an overall strategy that includes other types of investments, such as real estate, and always considers the “big picture”. Most significantly, he keeps us focussed on all the elements of a successful long term financial strategy (investment horizons for different family members, risk tolerance and profile, diversification, periodic re-balancing, tax considerations, etc.). I consider myself fortunate to have Terry as a financial advisor, and highly recommend him.

  I've been working with Terry for over a year with my personal and corporate investment portfolio. I have nothing but good things to say. We sit down for coffee every few months for a catch up and he shows a genuine interest in my business, while providing me updates on the progress of my investments. Terry keeps everything very simple and straightforward, but has always been able to answer any specific questions I've had.
