::Great hidden away creek that most people in Toronto don't know about. Even most east siders don't know it well. This creek spans across the city on the north end from Victoria Park all the way to broadview where it connects with the Don Valley. This means you could bike from the east side of the city all the way to the west through bike trails, I know since I have done it many times. In the creek, there is a paved path and a non paved off road trail path that families with their dogs love. Also the creek also contains numerous other trails and parks that connect to it. Definitely a hidden gem filled with a ton of animals, especially birds.

::This place is great! I take my dog here and my kids all year round. Parking at the Dawes road entrance makes it easy. I go often.

::Great park for a nice walk. Easy to find loop trails so that you don't have to double back on yourself. Sunny paths and shaded paths for whatever you prefer. On the north side of the river, most people keep their dogs off leash so it's made for a great unofficial off leash area for your pets.
