Great place for festivals and concerts, the festival of lights, is a big one, 420 is the biggest money making machine Vancouver ever saw. We have the best celebrations of life, spirit and freedom, to the beach this summer. Bless

This was for the four twenty festival, seeing the police presence like every year was comforting. The place was clean and there was a good feeling, not like the screaming and yelling and drama of drunks, no one around that was drinking alcohol or doing hard drugs. They day was great, everyone, even the police had smiles and we're happy. Bless.

I went for 420 and didn’t get to see the beach and nice grassy areas. It was packed, and there was a stage and tons and tons of booths. It was a fantastic event to experience. I was told the city laid down some turf or something to protect the grass. There was a lot of cloud no surprise but the people were friendly and it only rained for a short while but it was hardly noticeable.

Beautiful area but many people litter here. There are garbage cans but I've witnessed people throwing garbage on the ground. When I see this, I try to tell them when I can. But when I can't, I pick up after them. Also, so many cigarette butts. Are people really this inconsiderate?

Only the best place to meet celebrates in West Van. Just bring beer and voila, someone with talent surpassing your own but also inspires you in some way. It's a great place.
