  I'm on a business trip, in Calgary and the concierge at Sheraton recommend Sumo Lounge. It's a very convenient location, especially if your new to the city. It's only a 5 minute walk to Sumo Lounge from downtown Sheraton. It's nice to have fresh, authentic Japanese food.

  I've been living in Japan for 12 years now, and I came back to visit my parents in February. I'm a Japanese food enthusiast, so I decided to try Sumo Lounge in Eau Claire Market. After my experience there if you were to compare Japanese sushi in Japan with the ones at Sumo Lounge there would be no difference! Sumo's sushi is very authentic to the Japanese cuisine and all the sashimi and rolls that I had were so fresh! The next time that I visit Calgary, I will bring all my Japanese friends there, that is how good it was!

  I went with a group of friends last Thursday and we were all pleased with the overall environment, service, and the food at Sumo! If your looking for a place to eat or if your planning to go watch a movie there at Eau Claire, me and my friends HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sumo Lounge as a place you should be stopping by!

  Delicious sushi. Their mango roll is exceptional with real mango. One of the first sushi places I have tried in Calgary, been there more than 10 times. The service is not always the greatest but food makes up for it. Cozy place, seatings are confortable and the vibe is nice. Always clean and well kept. Never order take out, they're not prepared for such a service.. the packaging is awful, you will get your sushi all crushed.
